NIKITA is a classic example of an inspiring performing artist, dance teacher, choreographer, artistic director and successful business woman. Having mesmerised audiences throughout, she presents a challenge to today’s traditional or contemporary spectator. Her life so far and rapid career progression have also made her a role model for the younger generation.

Nikita is also passionate and sincere dance student, having undertaken strict and disciplined training under senior dance masters and Gurus. She is grateful to; Surdashan Dheer (UK), Indu Moudgil (UK), Shila Mehta (India), Shri Pratap Pawar (UK), Saroj Khan (India) and the legendary Kathak maestros Pandit Birju Maharaj, Kumudini Lakhia and Nahid Siddiqui for their contributions to her training.
In 2005, Nikita registered her own dance company, and officially became the UK’s youngest professional dance teacher and director.
The company now trains more then 200 students across London, and has become established as a cultural institute for promoting high standards of Indian dance in the UK.
In 2007, she went on a 2month tour across Australia with a musical production called ‘Dreamgirls of Bollywood’. The production was produced in Bombay, home of the Indian film industry and consisted of an all Indian cast. Bollywood choreographers including Saroj Khan directed dances for this production.
Her client list so far, for performance and choreographic work includes reputable companies such as; HSBC, Royal Bank of Scotland, BMI, Ford, Vodafone, Asda, Sharwoods, Sukshinder Shinder and many others who have all been extremely satisfied by Nikita and her companies work.
In 2008, she was nominated and short-listed for a national award (AWA - Young Achiever of the year), for her outstanding achievements to date.
Nikita’s successes also shines through her students, who have won numerous competitions, participated in music videos, performed on TV channels and dazzled audiences in stage shows across the UK. Some of her senior dancers now run their own dance groups and academies, and others have got jobs working in industry.
